Manufactured in 1939. Produced without sights, with a combination of commercial "crown/letter" proofs and Nazi "Eagle 359" stamps on the barrel and frame, with matching numbers on both and the 1939 date on the left side of the frame below the one line Zella-Mehlis address and Walther banner. Fitted with checkered plastic grips and a lanyard swivel.

Excellent, with 95% of the original black anodized finish, showing areas of smooth bright wear, chiefly on the muzzle and high edges, and light handling marks overall. Strong niter blue is present on the hammer and small parts. Grips are excellent, with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
