Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the chamber, with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. The magazine is nickel finished with an aluminum base, and the grips are checkered walnut. With a brown leather flap holster marked "Karl Barth/Waldbrol", "WaA727" and "1939" on the rear, "eagle/63" stamped takedown tool, and an extra magazine.

Very fine as partially refinished (cold blue touch-up on holster wear areas), with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, mild spotting concentrated on the muzzle and the rear of the frame, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Excluding the magazines, external numbers match. The grips are fine, with some dents and flat spots on the otherwise sharp checkering. Holster is good, with scuffs and mild cracks. Mechanically excellent.
