Introduced circa 1915, the Bolo takes the style and function of the Model 1896 and applies it to a more compact pistol. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the 3-line address on top of the chamber, 2-line address on the right side of the frame, "NS" monogrammed hammer, and matching external numbers. A lanyard ring is installed on the butt, with a stock slot in the back strap. Fitted with a pair of 22 groove hardwood grips.

Fine, with 50% plus of the much faded original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are good, with some dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
