A) Nazi Proofed Astra Model 600 Pistol with Holster

Description:

Fixed sights, with the Astra starburst logo and two-line Guernica address on top of the slide, matching numbers on the slide and frame, and an "eagle/WaA" stamp on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips. With a black leather holster marked "M.R.MACK (struck out)/MONAHAN, JOHN/0703" on the inside. Information supplied by the consignor identifies a John J. Monahan, service number 31110703, as having entered the Army as a Warrant Officer on 21 July 1942.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 85% of the faded original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, areas of gray patina, and scattered handling marks. Grips are very good, with a crack present in the top of the left panel and mild dents. Holster is very good, with some scuffs and creases. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Fixed sights, with the standard address and patent marks on the left side of the slide, and "Bahnpolizei U.S. Zone" on the right. Grips are checkered, with "FN" imprints on the top. With an extra magazine and a brown leather flap holster. The Bahnpolizei were responsible for security and safety on the railways of the Federal Republic of Germany. Post-unification, they were merged with the Federal Border Guard to create the Federal Police.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the blue finish, showing a gray patina on the grip straps and high edges, along with scattered handling marks. The grips are very good with mild scuffing. Holster is very good with some white spotting and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
