Description:

1) Mundlos K98 bayonet, 15 1/4 inches overall with a 10 inch blued single fuller single edged blade, marked "MUNDLOS" on the left ricasso, "6304/a" on the right, and dated "40" on the spine, with a short oval handguard, ribbed hard rubber grips, and a set of "eagle/243" (Mundlos) waffenamt stamps on the pommel and catch. With a blue steel sheath numbered to match and a black leather frog. 2) R. Herder utility knife, 9 5/8 inches overall with a 5 3/8 inch bright steel blade marked "RICH.ABR.HERDER/SOLINGEN" on the left side, with a nickel finished hilt and simulated stag horn grips. With a blued steel sheath, a riveted plastic hanger, and a paper sleeve with the Herder logo on it.

Rating Definition:

1) Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing bright sheath wear on the blade, scattered handling marks and mild spotting. 80% finish is present on the sheath and the frog shows mild scuffing. 2) Excellent, with some light spotting and sheath wear on the blade, 95% original finish on the hilt, and light chipping on the grips. The sheath is very good, and the sleeve shows minor scuffs and tears.
