Manufactured in 1928. The left side of the slide is marked with the two-line, two-block 1897 and 1903 patent dates and address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and the right side is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame. Fixed sights, blue finish including the barrel with bright chamber, Colt marked two-tone magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Comes with the original maroon hinged lid box with correct end label, numbered to the gun and instructions.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with a series of tiny dings on the front strap and some minor edge wear. The grips are also excellent with mild handling wear and sharp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with a portion of the lid hinge separated and there is some heavy edge and corner wear.
