This example has flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the front and back of the side plates, on the receiver, on the break lever, on the trigger plate, on the trigger guard and on the forearm hardware. There are game scenes on both side plates and on the bottom of the receiver. The left side plate shows two ducks taking flight from a marshy area with cattails in the foreground. The right side plate shows three snipe descending to landing in a marshy area. The bottom of the receiver shows a woodcock in flight with a scraggly tree in the background over the markings "P. Beretta/S687 EELL/Diamond Pigeon". The gold plated trigger is adjustable for length of pull and there is a tang mounted safety/selector switch. The 29 1/2 inch X Trap over/under barrels are numbered to the gun, have the date stamp "BF" for 1995, have a single white bead sight, are factory threaded for Mobil choke tubes with modified/full installed and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with long forcing cones and ejectors. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with right handed palm swell, raised comb, initial oval and Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is currently 14 5/8 inches with the trigger positioned near the center. With a blue plastic Beretta hardcase.

Excellent, the blue components retain 98% plus of the original finish with some high edge and handling wear along with some scattered minor marks. The coin finished components remain mostly bright with freckles of minor oxidation. The wood is excellent with some scattered minor scratches, some high edge wear and a replacement recoil pad. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good. A very attractive and well performing trap shotgun!
