Manufactured in August of 1943. The barrel is marked "1-S-A-6-43". Has the standard sights with a bar locking windage drum and a "BATTLE RANGE" marked elevation drum. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a boxed "S.A./FMF" cartouche, a small crossed cannon ordnance cartouche and a circled "P" proof. With a green web sling.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, 90% plus of the dark green parkerized finish remains with high edge, handling and cycling wear. The sanded and reoiled stock is very good with scattered dings and scratches. The cartouches are mostly visible. Mechanically excellent.
