The barrel is marked "UNDERWOOD/1-44/flaming bomb". Standard front sight "N", first style barrel band, straight faced slide "S" in a circle, flat bolt "40s", two position flip rear sight "S", "STANDARD/PRODUCTS" recoil plate, straight hammer "SW", unmodified "SW" magazine release, unmarked push button safety and laminated "ST" trigger guard housing. Mounted on a shallow groove two rivet handguard "S-HB" and a low wood walnut stock with a crossed cannon cartouche on the right side and "S-HB" in the sling cutout.

Very fine, 90% plus of the dark green parkerized finish remains with wear along the barrel, some handling and cycling wear and some scattered minor scratches and dings. The reoiled wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Magazine is absent.
