This example has a simple border engraving around the outside of the lock plates, on the receiver, on the trigger guard, on the break lever and on the forearm hardware. The bottom of the receiver is engraved "ROYAL/HAMMERLESS/EJECTOR" and the water table is engraved "No. 2 GRADE.". The right barrel is engraved "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" and the left barrel is engraved "93 NEW BOND STREET, LONDON.". The top of the rib is tapped for a bead sight at the muzzle, the barrels are choked .000/.011 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The bottom flat of the barrels are stamped with various proofmarks and the matching serial number is stamped on the bottom of both barrels. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and hybrid pistol/straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches.

Completely refinished, the barrels have a faded purplish/blue finish with both ribs separating. The trigger guard retains 98% of the high quality blue finish with some moderate pitting. The casehardened components have been polished bright. The markings on the barrel are faint and there is scattered minor pitting overall. The replacement wood is excellent with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically needs work as safety does not engage.
