The right side plate shows 7 pheasants both in flight and standing in a field. The underside of the receiver shows two rabbits running through a field and the trigger guard and lower tang show 3 woodcocks. There is also floral scroll engraving on the break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware. The barrels have a single steel bead sight, are choked .027/.029 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, raised cheekpiece and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good, 95% of the original blue finish remains overall with patches of oxidation on the barrels and some scattered minor scratches and high edge wear. The coin finished components have a gray patina overall with some small areas of discoloration. The wood is also very good with some scattered dings and scratches along with two small hairline cracks near the knuckle on the forearm. Mechanically excellent.
