This example has nicely executed floral scroll engraving on the side plates, receiver, break lever, trigger plate, trigger guard and forearm hardware. The gun is signed "GRAVEUR L. Smeets" next to the triggers. The barrels have a single nickel bead sight, are engraved "A.CORDY & FILS Fts Btes LIEGE" on the top of the left barrel, are choked .010/.029 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The bottom of the barrels have the various Belgian proofmarks along with the date code "t" for 1941. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a silver initial oval and a Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent, the blue components retain 98% plus of the original blue finish with some scattered minor scratches and high edge wear. The coin finished components remain mostly bright with some scattered minor pin prick pitting and some freckles of discoloration. The wood is very good as refinished with some scattered minor scratches and dings, a very small hairline stress crack at the top tang and a replacement recoil pad. Mechanically excellent.
