This shotgun was manufactured in 1968 and is intricately engraved with nearly full coverage floral scroll engraving on the receiver and trigger plate. The trigger guard and forearm hardware also have ample coverage as well as the break lever which has a pierced floral design. There is even an engraved band at the muzzle and breech ends of the barrels. Has a single non-selective trigger and a tang mounted safety. The barrels have a single brass bead sight, are choked .015/.030 and have 3 inch chambers with long forcing cones and ejectors. Mounted on a nicely figured, finely multi-point checkered beavertail walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, engraved initial oval "JHT//1931-1973/GRANVILLE/R&D" and checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent, 99% of the original blue finish remains with some scattered minor scratches. The choke markings on the underside have been remarked and the chokes tightened by opening the bores to .635. The casehardened components retain 98% of the vivid original case colors with some minor wear around the tang safety. The wood is also excellent with some scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
