The receiver, lock plates, trigger guard and hammers have extensive floral scroll and rose bouquet engraving. The lock plates are both engraved "ADKIN". The barrels are replacements by the well known firm Westley Richards with the rib engraved "BARRELS BY WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. LONDON.". The barrels have a single nickel bead sight, are choked .035/.035 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with an extractor. The bottom flat of the barrels have the various proofmarks, the bore size and the chamber length (2 1/2"). "T7785" is stamped on the bottom of both barrels. Mounted on a nicely figured custom replacement, multi-point checkered walnut forearm with ebony insert and a straight grip stock with a checkered butt with steel toe and heel plates. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Good, the replacement barrels retain 99% of their original blue finish with some minor scratches and edge wear. The hammers and trigger guard retain 99% of their refinished blue. The casehardened components have been polished bright with scattered scratches, dings and wear. Nearly all of the engraving remains visible with some areas washed out. The replacement wood is excellent with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
