Manufactured in 1952 (receiver). It is chambered in .35 Remington, a caliber that was discontinued in 1947 and is one of the rarest calibers in the Model 70 line. Hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight on the barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory proof is stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Straight receiver tang, late safety, polished bolt numbered to the gun and sling swivels. The checkered pistol grip stock has a straight comb and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish with the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing a few minor handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
