Manufactured in 1950 (receiver) during the transition period (late 1945-1951). Hooded ramp front sight and filler block in the rear sight dovetail slot on a barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side. The receiver has a Lyman sight and is tapped for scope mounting. Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver. Polished bolt numbered to gun, quick release sling swivels and straight receiver tang. Nicely figured straight comb pistol grip stock featuring checkering, ebony forend tip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically needs work as bolt will not cock.
