Manufactured in 1960 (receiver). Barrel manufactured without sights and marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory oval proof is present on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Floor plate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Jeweled follower, extractor, and bolt with the bolt numbered to gun. Receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting, straight receiver tang, late safety and quick release sling swivels. Nicely figured high comb pistol grip stock featuring checkering, ebony forend tip, metal grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
