Manufactured in 1952 (receiver). It is chambered in the very desirable and rare 300 Savage caliber which was available as a special order caliber circa 1944 until sometime in the 1950s. Hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight (elevation bar missing) on a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver. Receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, late safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun and sling swivels. The checkered straight comb pistol grip stock has a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is very good with a small chip missing near the buttplate tang and crude recut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
