Manufactured in 1958. Hooded ramp front sight and first variety African Model adjustable rear sight on a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. Winchester factory oval proof on the receiver and barrel and floor plate marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Jeweled bolt, extractor and follower. Bolt numbered to gun, late safety, straight receiver tang and quick release sling swivels. The checkered high comb pistol grip stock features a cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, metal grip cap and solid Winchester recoil pad.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is also very fine showing a few very scattered mild handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
