Manufactured in 1956. There is a tapped hole at the muzzle end of the barrel, there are two sets of tapped holes near the rear of the receiver and there are two sets of tapped holes on the receiver. All of the holes are for sight/scope mounting and have filler screws installed. There is also a dovetail near the muzzle with a scope block installed and there is a sight mount attached to the left rear of the receiver. There is an oval "W/P" proofmark on the rear left of the barrel. There is no visible proofmark on the receiver. The trigger is adjustable. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a forearm accessory rail having a palm stop/sling swivel installed and a checkered steel buttplate.

Professionally refinished, 98% of the high quality blue finish remains with some minor pitting and cold blue touch up near the serial number. The proofmark on the receiver has been removed and the serial number is restamped. There is a piece of rubber under the rear tang. The stock is excellent with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
