Manufactured in Belgium in 1970, this extensive game scene engraved rifle features a blue barrel manufactured without provisions for sights and French gray finish on the remaining parts. The breech end of the barrel is decorated with floral scroll engraving on the sides. Polished bolt and gold washed serrated trigger. The front receiver ring is engraved with a bugling elk on the right side, a moose on the left side and the remainder of the action is relief floral vine leaf and punch dot engraved. Is signed by the engraver by the moose (L S). The hinged floor plate is engraved with a standing bear in a mountain scene and there is a mountain lion on the trigger guard. The floor plate below the bear is signed "J. BAERTEN". The screw heads and stock bolts are also engraved with a leaf design. The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and punch dot hand carving on the forearm and grip area, contrasting forend and grip cap with a diamond shaped brass insert on the grip cap, raised comb, cheekpiece, vented Browning recoil pad and sling swivel studs. The original Browning box is numbered to the gun.

Near new in box with the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
