The right side of the receiver is engraved with a woodcock in a grassy field surrounded by floral scroll engraving. The right side of the breechblock shows two doves in flight surrounded by floral scroll. There is a floral pattern engraved above and below the serial number. The top of the round barrel is matted with a single nickel bead sight. The barrel is choked .039 and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber. Mounted on a ribbed walnut forearm and pistol grip walnut stock with raised cheekpiece and curved steel buttplate. Length of pull is 12 5/8 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Partially refinished (magazine tube, action bar and buttstock), the barrel and receiver retain half of the original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. There are some scattered patches of minor pitting and some small areas of oxidation. The magazine tube and action bar retain 85% of the high quality blue finish with cycling wear. The forearm is very good and the buttstock is fair as heavily sanded with scattered dings and scratches. An attractive example that could have been engraved by Conrad Ulrich Junior!
