Manufactured in 1972. This example has masterfully executed floral scroll engraving with a gold inlaid game scene on each side of the receiver. The left side shows a gold inlaid pheasant in a field scene and the right side shows a gold inlaid woodcock in a field scene. During this time period Bill Mains was the factory engraver. There is a small signature on the right side of the receiver on one of the scrolls that looks like "BE". The bottom of the receiver is engraved with an eagle clutching three arrows. The barrel has two white bead sights, is choked .030 and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber with an ejector. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered beavertail walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap, blank initial oval and a Kick-Eez recoil pad on an aluminum pad adjuster. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent, 99% of the original blue finish remains with a few minor scratches and dings. 98% plus of the original case colors remain with some minor wear on the break lever and top tang. The refinished wood is very fine as shortened with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
