Manufactured after 1934. There is beautifully executed floral scroll engraving on the receiver, trigger plate, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. There is also a floral bouquet engraved on the trigger plate. The first barrel is stamped with a "1" on the forearm lug, is stamped with the matching serial number on the bottom flat along with the weight of "3 10", the choke marking "FULL" (measures .036) and with the Remington date codes of "XTT3", "OJ" and "PK3". The second barrel is engraved on the left side of the barrel shoulder "FOR 16 YARD TARGETS", is stamped with a "2" on the forearm lug, is stamped with the matching serial number on the bottom flat along with the weight of "3 10", the choke marking "IMP. MOD" (measures .021) and with the Remington date codes of "LTT3", "PK3" and "XTT3". Both barrels have two ivory bead sights and a 2 3/4 inch chamber with an ejector. Mounted on a nicely figured, checkered semi-beavertail walnut forearm numbered to the gun with a "1" stamped above the serial number. There is a second matching forearm stamped with a "2" above the serial number. The pistol grip stock has checkered flats with carved Fleur-de-Lis accents, a hard rubber grip cap with blank gold inset initial panel, a Cheek-Eez pad is installed on the comb and there is a Kick-Eez recoil pad on an aluminum pad adjuster. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches.

Professionally refinished by Remington (barrels), 95% of the blue finish remains on both of the barrels with some high edge and muzzle wear along with scattered minor scratches and dings. The trigger guard retains 50% of the original blue finish with a silver/gray patina on the balance. The casehardened components retain strong traces of the original case colors remain in the protected area around the trigger guard with a bright silvery patina on the balance. The engraving remains sharp and well defined. There are some dings around the pin on the lower left side of the receiver. The refinished wood is fine as shortened with a putty filled repair at the rear of the top tang along with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent fine with a weak ejector on the number two barrel and forearm.
