This example was manufactured in 1959. The left side of the receiver is engraved with a man ready to fire his shotgun in a field scene which is signed "McGRAW". The right side of the receiver is engraved with an Indian drawing a bow back in a field scene. There are flourishes of floral scroll engraving on both sides of the receiver, on the underside of the receiver, on the trigger plate, on the trigger guard and on the sides of the breech end of the barrel. The barrel is choked .032 and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber with ejector. Mounted on the original multi-point checkered semi-beavertail walnut forearm and a custom pistol grip stock with contrasting grip cap, raised cheekpiece, comb and Jenkins recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches with a spacer installed. Comes with the original stock numbered to the gun having a Pachmayr recoil pad and an extra Ithaca "sunburst" recoil pad with aluminum backing plate.

Very good, 95% of the original blue finish remains with some forearm wear, some scattered minor scratches, some scattered minor dings and handling wear on the trigger plate. The lower tang has been shortened and one forearm hardware screw is absent. 50% plus of the bright original case colors remain with a silvery patina on the balance and a few areas of oxidation on the right side. The forearm has been bedded at the tip and has scattered dings that have been touched up with finish that has ran. The replacement buttstock is excellent with some scattered dings. The original buttstock is very good with scattered dings (some of which have been touched up) and some scratches along with a replacement recoil pad. Mechanically excellent.
