Manufactured in 1891. The barrels have a nickel bead sight, are choked .027/.028 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with an extractor. The size 1 receiver has flourishes of floral scroll engraving along with game scenes. The left side shows two ducks landing in a marshy area, the right side shows two quail in a grassy field and the trigger plate shows two pheasants in a grassy field. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank initial shield and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches.

Fine, the barrels retain much of the original brown finish with nearly all of the Damascus pattern visible. The casehardened components retain 25% of the bright original case colors in the protected areas with a mostly silver patina on the balance. The wood is very fine with scattered scratches, dings and a small hairline crack at the top tang. Mechanically excellent.
