Manufactured between 1921 and 1940. There is a German silver blade front sight and an adjustable single leaf express rear sight. The left rear of the barrel is engraved "Burns - Valicek" over the caliber "416 Taylor" and the right side is engraved "Shannon Hooker". The receiver is tapped for scope mounting with a two- piece Weaver scope base installed. The bolt body is jeweled. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, contrasting grip cap, two reinforcing bolts, a raised cheekpiece and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.

Excellent as custom built, 99% of the blue finish remains with some scattered scratches and dings. The bolt knob has some brown residue/discoloration. The wood is excellent with some scattered minor scratches and dings along with some tape residue on the right side of the stock. Mechanically excellent.
