Manufactured in 1893. The receiver has extensive floral scroll engraving with floral scroll also present on the trigger plate, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. There are game scenes on the sides of the receiver and on the trigger plate. The left side shows a dog on point, the right side shows a different breed of dog on point and the trigger plate shows four quail in a grassy field. The frame is a size 2. The Damascus barrels have a nickel bead sight, are choked .030/.032 and have 2 5/8 inch chambers with and extractor. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered plastic Bishop buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.

Fine, half of the brown finish remains on the barrels with much of the Damascus pattern visible. The trigger guard has a brown patina. The casehardened components retain strong traces of the original case colors in the protected areas with a mottled gray/brown patina on the balance. The replacement wood is very good as refinished with two slivers absent from the forearm, a long hairline crack across the middle of the forearm and scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
