Manufactured in 1902. The receiver, trigger plate, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware have the standard floral scroll engraving. There is a game scene in a panel on both side of the receiver and on the trigger plate. The left side shows two ducks landing in a marsh, the right side shows 2 pheasants in a field and the trigger plate shows two pheasants in a field. The frame is a size two with tang mounted safety and double triggers. The Damascus steel barrels have a brass capped ivory bead front sight and a black dyed ivory mid bead sight, the chokes measure .030/.032 and the chambers are 3 inches with an extractor. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank silver initial shield and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Fine, half of the original brown finish remains with much of the Damascus pattern visible. 10% of the bright original case colors remain on the inside of the forearm hardware with a mostly smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also fine as refinished with scattered dings, scratches and a tight hairline crack on the top left of the wrist. Mechanically excellent.
