Manufactured in 1918 as part of the final World War I contract run. It was then subsequently overhauled/reparkerized by Augusta Arsenal many years later. The slide has the standard two block address/patent markings and Rampant Colt on the left side with "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" on the right. The left side of the frame is stamped with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" towards the front followed by the letters "AA" (Augusta Arsenal) indicating an arsenal overhaul/rebuild and "Eagle/S12" frame proofs. The right side is stamped with only the serial number. Fitted with the Colt wide checkered spur hammer, smooth flat mainspring housing, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, a WWII replacement High Standard barrel and a set of WWII replacement plastic checkered grips. This pistol is complete with one parkerized magazine and a WWII leather holster marked "SEARS/1942" on the backside and a crossed rifle collar insignia attached to the lower front flap.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 97% of the dark parkerized finish remaining. The replacement plastic grips are excellent with only minor handling marks. The holster is very good showing minor scuffing and scratches overall with tight stitching and some minor oil spotting on the front.
