Manufactured between 1943 and 1948. This carbine has a ramped beaded blade front sight (hood absent) with flat steel barrel band, and an elevation adjustable rear sporting sight. Standard left rear barrel markings and Winchester oval proof on the barrel and receiver. The serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Fine. The carbine retains 70% faded original blue finish with some edge and muzzle wear, thinning. Some areas of smooth gray patina and several small scratches on the right side of the magazine tube. The wood is also very good with 70% original oil finish remaining showing some minor dings, scuffs and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
