Manufactured in 1941. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block address divided by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the replacement slide, "P" on top and restamped to match frame serial number around the firing pin. "R.S." inspected frame stamped on the top and the left side, with "T/VP" on the trigger guard, short milled trigger, checkered wide hammer, slide stop, thumb safety and mainspring housing, hollow-back Colt grips, unmarked magazine and a blue finished Colt barrel.

Fine as assembled (see above), partially refinished (frame), with 80% of the original blue finish on the slide, with scattered mild pitting on the frame, bright edge wear, mild spotting, takedown lines, and handling marks overall. Both inspector marks are double-struck. The grips are very good, with some dings. Mechanically excellent.
