Manufactured in 1918. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide divided by the Rampant Colt and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S. ARMY" on the right. The frame is stamped "eagle/S16", with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left side, long smooth trigger, flat top rear sight, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety and flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Checkered hardwood grips with diamond patterns around the screws and Colt barrel with a conjoined "HP" on top of the chamber.

Very good as refinished, showing 98% of the current blue, with mild edge wear and handling marks overall. Minor alterations have been made to the sights. The grips are very good, with some light dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
