Description:

This is a belt fed, closed-bolt, semi-automatic rifle patterned after the U.S. M60 General Purpose Machine Gun, using a newly-made receiver and trigger group combined with a number of GI-specification components. In this configuration, the M60 was the primary American infantry machine gun from 1957 through the 1980's. Blade front and folding adjustable peep sights, with a cosmetic flash hider and folding steel bipod mounted on the barrel ahead of the sight, hard-mounted underslung gas tube, and a ventilated forearm with stamped steel top, ribbed plastic bottom, and quick-release lever built into the carry handle base. The 3-line makers mark, address, caliber and serial number markings are present on the underside of the receiver, with a plastic pistol grip, cheekpiece and buttstock, and a flip-up steel shoulder rest.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 95% of the original phosphate finish, showing mild edge wear and handling marks overall. The flash hider has a steel tube welded into the interior to block the gas vents, and then is welded to the muzzle. A small amount of spotting is present on the barrel and upper handguard. Mild scuffs are present on the receiver cover, with a few light dings and scuffs on the pistol grip and buttstock. The flashider should be checked by a gunsmith for clearance, mechanically excellent.
