Developed in the early 1980's the M82 series of weapons has been adopted by a number of military forces, where its long range striking power makes it useful for disabling vehicles, detonating enemy ordnance as well as sniping at extended ranges. The M82A1, adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps as the M82A3 Special Application Scoped Rifle, is the latest in the series. This version features a spring loaded folding blade front sight and a folding peep rear sight that are integrated into the 23 3/4 inch top-mounted Picatinny rail, with a detachable carry handle and a Leupold 4.5-14x scope in Barrett rings. The barrel is fitted with the Barrett Manufacturing "arrowhead" muzzle brake, mounted on the fluted barrel, with a folding metal bipod, AR-15 style grip and safety, and a rubber padded buttstock with "club foot" style hand rest and rubber tipped monopod. With a Pelican 1750 hard case and papers.

Excellent, with over 99% of the matte gray finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The optics are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
