Manufactured between 1971 and 1973. Semi-hooded post front sight with flip-up night dot and a 500-meter tangent peep sight. Fitted with a three-prong "wirecutter" flash hider with integral bayonet lug, 2-position dust cover safety, extended magazine release paddle, checkered forearm and pistol grip and a hardwood buttstock with serrated buttplate.

Excellent, with 98% of the original matte black finish, showing some mild handling marks overall. The stock shows a few tiny chips at the wrist. Equipped with a 7.62x39mm magazine, not a .223 magazine, otherwise mechanically excellent.
