Manufactured in 1956, the introductory year for the Second Generation Single Action Army. Single line address on top of barrel, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two-line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching serial and assembly numbers, including the inside of each grip panel. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt at the top. Comes with the original black hinged lid box numbered to the gun and with the correct end label.

Excellent plus in original box. The revolver retains 99% original blue finish with some very mild edge wear and a faint cylinder drag line. The frame retains 99% plus original bright case colors. The grips are as new. Sharp markings and excellent action. The box is very good with some wear and fraying on the exterior and some contact wear on the interior.
