Additional dovetails have been added for the mounts for the 32 1/2 inch long adjustable scope. It is fitted with a walnut forearm that is numbered to the gun and has an ebony insert on the Schnabel tip and a semi-pistol grip stock with checkering on the grip and a crescent metal buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Good. The finish on the barrel has mostly thinned to form a brown patina. The receiver has some fade case colors and mostly a mottled gray patina. The buttplate has a brown patina. The wood is fair with flat checkering that remains mostly sharp, some minor dings and pressure marks, light scratches and a small amount of chipping at the junctions with the receiver. Mechanically fine with mostly clear markings. The scope has a golden patina on the exterior with some streaks of finish and darker patina. The optics are fairly clear but have a spot in one corner and a scratch or hair.
