This pistol is marked "S/Joseph" on the lock plate below the pan and has light border and floral engraving throughout. It has a part octagon brass barrel with two "crown/cross scepter" proofs and brass furniture aside from the lock, trigger, and ramrod indicating it was likely made for naval usage. It is fitted on a full length stock with silver initial shield. The trigger guard has an acorn finial.

Very good. The brass has an attractive aged patina while the other components have a brown patina. The stock is good with some cracks, slivers and chips absent, and a few scattered dings and marks. Mechanically needs work as both the hammer and frizzen springs are broke.
