Description:

Both swords are fitted with triple fuller blades and cast brass hilts with scale pattern grips and American Eagle pommels. 1) 1832 sword, 24 1/2 inches long with an unmarked 18 5/8 inch blade, "ORD.", "TW", "HKC." and "XXXXXII" on the guard. With a brown leather sheath. 2) Ames 1832 sword, 25 inches long, 19 inch blade marked "UNITED/STATES/1849/JCB" and "W.A.T" on the guard.

Rating Definition:

1) Fair, with heavy blade pitting and scattered dings and handling marks. The sheath has some lost stitching and scuffing. 2) Fair, with mild pitting on the blade and some handling marks.
