Both swords in this lot have straight single fuller blades with Ames makers marks, brass hilts, and black leather sheaths with brass furniture. 1) U.S. Ames Model 1840 musician's sword, 34 1/2 inches overall, 28 1/4 inch blade marked "US/J.F/1864" on the right ricasso and "G.W.C" on the knuckle guard.
