Made circa 1865-1868. German silver blade front sight and hammer notch rear sight, with the two-line address and patent dates on the barrel rib and fine punch-dot backed "New York Style" scroll engraving on the barrel, cylinder and frame. Coverage is about 60%, with additional wavy line accents on the sides of the barrel and back strap. The assembly number "W10" is present on the barrel lug, with a checkered hammer, smooth spur trigger, and smooth grips.

Fair, with traces of the original nickel finish, showing a gray steel patina on the remainder, mild pitting overall with heavier concentration on the barrel and top strap, and scattered handling marks. The grips are good, with a few small chips absent from the left panel, mild age cracking and a fine color and grain pattern. Some play in the barrel, mechanically good.
