Manufactured in 1873. Two line "COLT HOUSE PISTOL" marking flanked by Maltese crosses on top of the barrel with matching numbers on barrel, frame, and both grips. Distinctive 4-round cylinder and bird head grips.

Very good as refinished. Barrel displays 85% of the period refurbished blue finish with very minimal handling marks and some slight pitting directly at the muzzle. Hammer, trigger, cylinder and push rod have 55% original high polished blue finish with small areas of thinning and a small patch of rust spotting on the rod. Frame has faint traces of original silver plating with the balance a mixture of warm natural brass and dark oxidation. Grips are revarnished with good grain and some small pressure indentations. Mechanically very fine.
