This Colt was manufactured in 1879. It has the standard blade front and frame notch sights. The barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co HARTFORD Ct. U.S.A." on top with no other visible barrel markings. The left side of the frame has the three-line three-date patent information. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, front of the trigger guard and on the butt/back strap. The loading gate which has the assembly number "479" and the partial serial number "1026" is marked on the side of the cylinder. The left front trigger guard shoulder is marked "45 CAL". It is mounted with a smooth, one-piece, walnut grip and is fitted with a "bullseye" ejector rod head. It also includes an exceptional quality tooled "Slim Jim" holster.

Fine. The revolver retains 30% of the blue finish primarily in the protected areas with an otherwise gray or brown patina. Some case colors remain visible on the hammer and on the right front of the frame. There are some bright patches, areas of minor pitting and various minor scratches. The grip is good with traces of the varnish, some dings and scratches and some small chips on the lower edges. Mechanically fine with crisp markings. The attractive holster is in good condition with some surface cracking and light wear from use on the upper and lower sections.
