Manufactured in 1888. This example has a special order nickel receiver and buttplate with a blue barrel and magazine tube. The left side of the receiver directly above the Rampant Colt is inscribed "W M WORRELL" in a downward arch. (no research on the aforementioned individual is available to writer). The top barrel flat ahead of the rear sight is marked with the two-line address/patent dates and "32 Cal." at the breech. The serial number is on the lower tang. The barrel is fitted with a folding combination globe front and adjustable rear sporting sights. There is a long range tang mounted peep sight. Mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. Comes with a factory letter which states that no information could be found on the rifle.

Very fine. The barrel and magazine tube have a brown patina with a few small areas of minor pitting. The receiver retains 70% original nickel plating with a smooth gray on the lower tang, some minor flaking and blistering. Most of the original nickel plating remains on the buttplate with some flaking. The wood is also very fine with exception of a moderate chip on the upper right wrist at the frame juncture, a moderate gouge at the rear of the right wrist, and overall a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering on the excellent forearm. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent
