This small frame rifle was manufactured in 1894 and has a half magazine, combination bead/globe front sight, filled rear sight dovetail, a tang mounted Lyman's peep sight, and is fitted with a straight grip walnut stock and checkered forearm with a checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt emblem buttplate. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent information ahead of the rear sight, and "22 CAL" is stamped in script on the left side of the barrel between the rear sight dovetail and the receiver. The Rampant Colt trademark is marked on the left side of the receiver, and the serial number is on the lower tang.

Fine. This rifle retains 40% of the original blue finish with some finish wear on the upper and lower regions of the frame, light high edge wear, some scattered scratches, and spots of oxidation. The wood is also fine with some slight scuffs and light scratches. Mechanically fine with clear markings.
