The solid rib is fitted with a blade front sight and a three leaf rear sight (two folding) graduated to 300 and is marked "WATSON BROS. 29 OLD BOND STREET, LONDON." The underside of the barrels are proofed and marked "577 EX", "577 CARTRIDGE, LENGTH 3 INCH" and "POWDER 167 GRAINS C&H NO. 6 BULLET 570 GRAINS." The receiver, hammers, lock plates, barrel release, trigger guard, forearm hardware and grip cap feature an extensive and beautifully executed fine English scroll engraving. The lock plates are marked "WATSON BROS" in a banner. The water table is stamped with two "crown/V" proofs. The trigger guard tang is marked with the serial number "12305." The nicely figured pistol grip stock features checkering on the forearm and grip area, a straight comb, a raised cheekpiece, sling eyelets and a solid recoil pad. With a heritage dating back to 1885, Watson Brothers of London, England, continue to manufacture high quality firearms. Length of pull: 14 1/4 inches, drop at comb: 2 inches, drop at heel: 2 5/8 inches.

Fine as period refinished. The barrels retain 95% of the blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with a few minor dings. The remaining metal surfaces retain traces of case colors in the protected areas, otherwise a smooth gray patina. The stock is very good with a repair in the grip area and a few minor handling marks with some nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
