Polished bead front and folding leaf rear sight, with "A.F. STOEGER, NEW YORK" on top of the rib, "MERKEL BROTHERS" on the left barrel and light engraving on the breeches. An assortment of German proofs are present on the underside, along with Krupp Fluid Steel markings. Both shotgun barrels choked full with 2 3/4 inch chambers and a one-piece extractor. Scroll engraved frame, with a barrel selector on the tang, cocking indicators, a Greener safety on the left stock flat and a single set rifle trigger. Checkered round knob pistol grip stock, with engraved forearm hardware, black horn inserts at the tip and the grip, a blank inscription panel ahead of a 4-shell cartridge trap on the underside, and a solid recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches to end of pad, 13 1/4 inches to end of wood.

Very good as refinished with 95% of the blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall. Around half of the case colors are visible on the frame, with some silvering concentrated around the edges. The refinished stock is good, with some cracking on the stock flats, a few splits in the grain near the butt, mild handling marks and attractive grain and color overall. Mechanically very good.
