Description:

This WG Army revolver was manufactured in the early 20th century with German silver blade front and latch groove rear sights, lanyard loop, and flared checkered walnut grips. The barrel rib is marked "COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD. 226. STRAND & 141 NEW BOND ST. LONDON". The left side of the top strap has the model designation. The caliber is marked on the left side of the barrel lug followed by "L9186" (registration number), and the bottom left side of the frame has the Webley patent marking and winged bullet trademark. The matching serial number is marked on the left side of the frame, rear of the cylinder (partial), grip panels, and butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 90% of the bright original high polish blue finish remains with some thinning and edge wear, light scratches, a light cylinder drag line, and some flaking. The grips are very good with extensive small nicks and scratches and otherwise mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent with clear markings.
