Manufactured for commercial sale, with this one bearing the "GERMANY" stamp applied to pistols shipped to the United States. Blade front and notch rear sights, with a blank chamber top (scarce) and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. The underside of the fast-taper barrel has the crowned "B", "G", and "U" proofs over "172,28" and the serial number, with the "B" and "U" repeated on the left side of the extension and front toggle, "B" on the breech, and "commercial style" external numbering. Equipped with a recessed breechblock, dished toggles with integral lock, checkered safety switch with bright polished lower position, magazine hold-open, straw finished small parts with niter blue screws and pins, half-width grip safety, smooth back strap, checkered walnut grips and a nickel finished magazine with a walnut base.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus, with 50% of the faded thin original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, scattered handling marks, brown patina on the grip straps and mild spotting. 30% of the original straw colors are present with traces of niter blue in the protected areas. Grips are very good, with some minor dents and verdigris buildup. Mechanically fine.
